About the Las Vegas Rotary Club

In 1923, a group of community minded business leaders chartered the first Rotary club in southern Nevada, the Las Vegas Rotary Club. In our 92 years of Service Above Self our club has had many notable accomplishments. These include the construction of many Boy Scout huts; the establishment of Doolittle Park and the “Las Vegas Rotary Club Kid’s World” at Gowan Park; fundraising for the establishment of a library in Las Vegas; and sponsoring additional Rotary clubs, among many others.  Our Club has been actively involved in service projects with a focus on children including “Santa Clothes,” a long standing annual event aimed at providing clothes and mentoring for local children from several organizations including the Boys and Girls Club, Salvation Army and two local elementary schools.  As a member of Rotary International, our club also participates in many worldwide humanitarian projects such as the Corazon Superbuild in Tecate, Mexico, polio eradication, clean water and sanitation, and schools in Third World countries.  For more information on our club, please visit www.LasVegasRotary.com.
