Salesforce.com Foundation and Spread the Word Nevada:
Kids to Kids Impact the Community Through Books

More than 60 employees and partners from Salesforce.com volunteered their time on Oct. 6, 2008, to help Spread the Word Nevada: Kids to Kids clean more than 4,400 gently-used books to benefit at-risk children.

Salesforce.com employees and partners traveled to Las Vegas from offices located throughout the United States for a conference at the Palms Casino and Resort, and during their stay, made time to assist with cleaning books.

Sean Rosas, Manager of Projects That Impact the Community from the Salesforce.com Foundation, stated, "I am thrilled that more than 60 volunteers participated in this great event including five participants from our partner, Informatica."

Salesforce.com Foundation, a nonprofit organization, chose Spread the Word Nevada: Kids to Kids to continue their mission to make an impact on the community, with a focus on youth development. Salesforce.com Foundation has a 1/1/1 integrated corporate philanthropy Model where 1% of employee time, 1% of the company's equity and 1% of the company's product are made available to nonprofits.
