Kids to Kids Adopts 16th School: C.T. Sewell Empowerment School

On March 14, 2008, Kids to Kids proudly adopted C.T. Sewell Elementary School, "Home of the Shining Stars."

The day, kicked-off with a lively presentation by students (pictured below), featured an adoption ceremony and book distribution.

There's simply nothing to compare to the faces of the children who benefit from our programs!

Among the prominent figures in attendance were Clark County School District Superintendent Dr. Walt Rulffes; Dr. Lauren Kohut-Rost, Clark County School District Deputy Superintendent, Instruction Unit; and Monte Bay, Academic Manager, Empowerment Schools.

Representatives from the city of Henderson, as well as the office of Congressman Jon Porter, were present to show their support for our efforts.

C.T. Sewell Elementary School is located in Henderson, Nevada.
