Pack Your Bags for the First Annual Spread the Word Nevada Suitcase Party

March 10 , 2010 - Pack your suitcase, you're booked for fun!

On May 14 (5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.), Spread the Word Nevada will team up with Fletcher Jones Imports to create a unique, exciting fundraising event in Las Vegas, the First Annual Spread the Word Nevada Suitcase Party.

Tickets are $50 in advance and $60 at the door. Each ticket purchased will be valid for one entry to the party, including a food and beverage tasting, as well as one entry into the raffle.

This fun event offers guests the chance to be whisked away immediately after the event for one of three exclusive weekend vacations in Las Vegas. Guests will bring a packed suitcase to the event!

Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the children's literacy efforts of Spread the Word Nevada.

The main raffle drawing will take place at the end of the evening (approximately 7:00 p.m.). The event will be held at the Fletcher Jones Imports showroom amidst their luxury vehicles. Fletcher Jones Imports is located at 7300 Sahara Ave., Las Vegas. Free valet parking will be provided.

The evening will include wine provided by Barefoot Wine & Bubbly, appetizers provided by Piero's Italian Cuisine and live jazz!

The highlight of the event will be an opportunity to win one of three exciting weekend getaways! Winner of the Grand Prize trip will enjoy two nights at Caesars Palace, dinner at Rao's, and two tickets to see Cher live at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The Grand Prize winner will leave directly from the event in a Mercedes Maybach with their packed suitcase! (The winner and their guest will be delivered back to Fletcher Jones in the Mercedes Maybach late Sunday afternoon.)

Raffle drawings for two additional getaway packages, provided by Loews of Lake Las Vegas and The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino, will also be selected during the Spread the Word Nevada Suitcase Party. These packages will have a wider redemption window.
