Elementary schools who meet the following eligibility criteria may apply:

  • 80% or above free and reduced lunch rating
  • 60% or less 3rd grade reading proficiency
  • 1-3 star rated schools

Request a Book Donation

As a responsible literacy nonprofit, Spread the Word Nevada strives to make a difference in every community we serve. To be considered for a donation, please note the following requirements:

  • Donation recipient must be a school, nonprofit, or cause that promotes literacy
  • There must be a minimum of 7-days notice for all requests
  • Recipient must pick up the donation at one of our locations (Las Vegas or Reno)

  • Adult books (great for domestic violence shelters, homeless shelters, senior citizen programs etc.)
  • Middle and high school books
  • PreK-5th grade books
  • PreK-5th Spanish books
