Thank you so much to everyone who donated to the 2026 Community Book Drive! We are thrilled to share that over 50 local businesses participated, helping make this year’s drive one of our most impactful yet.

Thanks to your generosity, we raised $23,830 along with 38,000 books to help support literacy programs across Northern Nevada. Your support is making a real difference for children and families in our community.

Become a Book Drive Partner

Join us as a partner of our annual Northern Nevada Community Book Drive and help bring the power of reading to children across our region. Your support not only provides children with access to books, but also literacy programming for children and families.

Host a Round-Up or Create a Special Item

Invite your customers to round up their purchase totals in support of childhood literacy, helping to put books into the hands of local children. Or, get creative and feature a literary-themed menu item—donating a portion of the proceeds to Spread the Word Nevada.

Join Our Community Book Drive Challenge

This April, businesses, churches, and community groups are invited to collect new or gently used children’s books—or monetary donations—from employees, customers, and neighbors. Make it fun: host a themed drive, challenge a local competitor, or create your own unique way to support children’s literacy!
