On March 6, 2027, Spread the Word Nevada invites you to wish upon a star at our 24th Annual Storybook Gala, inspired by Carlo Collodi's Pinocchio. Join us for an unforgettable evening of delicious food, sparkling drinks, enchanting entertainment, and a little storybook magic, all while advancing childhood literacy.
A Brief History of the Storybook Gala
For 24 years, this magical night has raised vital funds to put books and literacy programs into the hands of children in Nevada’s underserved communities. And while we didn’t start theming our galas after beloved children’s stories until 2014 with The Cat in the Hat, we’ve since adventured through Treasure Island, danced with Cinderella, roared with Where the Wild Things Are, and so many more.
