Since 2001, our non-profit has been on a mission to advance childhood literacy in low-income communities, changing lives, one book at a time. With over 7 million books distributed and more than 1 million students reached, we are thrilled to announce an exciting new chapter of growth and impact.
We’re moving to a brand-new facility in the heart of Las Vegas, a space that will allow us to serve more children, more families, and have a greater impact on all the communities across Nevada. There are more than 128,000 children in our state that qualify for our programs. This new home sets us up to not only continue our mission but to grow it, ensuring that no child is left behind in their journey toward literacy.
Spread the Word Nevada has touched countless lives, and this move symbolizes more than just a new building – it’s a commitment to our community and to our future. While we are beyond grateful for this next chapter, we know that our work is far from over. So, we are ready to step forward, expand our services, and continue doing what we do best: empowering the next generation through the power of books and literacy.
