Readers in Training
Did you know that reading readiness begins at birth? Readers in Training (RIT) is an early literacy program serving birth to five-year olds and their parents/guardians. Aimed at establishing an early love of reading, families can participate from the comfort of their own home.
Children enrolled in this program will receive:
- Age-appropriate new books mailed monthly
- Tips and activities
- Bi-monthly small group meet-ups with story times, crafts, and reading exercises
- Monthly virtual check-ins with RIT staff and families
