Spread the Word Nevada is a nonprofit, 501 (C)(3) corporation, dedicated to advancing childhood literacy within low-income communities by changing lives one book at a time. While developing a love of reading, these kids’ home libraries promote future academic achievement and self-confidence, which impacts lifelong success. Since 2001, Spread the Word Nevada has distributed more than 7 million gently used and new books to more than 800,000 of Nevada’s children in need.
