Request to be a Spread the Word Nevada School
Spread the Word Nevada has completed the application process for the 2022-2023 school year for schools. Our next application process will open in April 2023. Please click here to join our waitlist to be guaranteed a link to the application when available.
Elementary schools who meet the following eligibility criteria may apply:
- 80% or above free and reduced lunch rating
- 60% or less 3rd grade reading proficiency
- 1-3 star rated schools
Request a Book Donation
As a responsible literacy nonprofit, Spread the Word Nevada strives to make a difference in every community we serve. To be considered for a donation, please note the following requirements:
- Donation recipient must be a school, nonprofit, or cause that promotes literacy
- There must be a minimum of 7-days notice for all requests
- Recipient must pick up the donation at one of our locations (Henderson or Reno)
Please submit a book request and we will do our best to support you. We currently have the following gently loved books:
- Adult books (great for domestic violence shelters, homeless shelters, senior citizen programs etc.)
- Middle and high school books
- PreK-5th grade books
- PreK-5th Spanish books
