(LAS VEGAS) — April 01, 2014 — Since opening its doors in May 2004, PODS of Las Vegas commemorates its biggest business milestone yet – its 10 year anniversary.

PODS of Las Vegas has changed the way people look at moving and storage. Revolutionizing the moving and storage industry by introducing the concept of portable storage PODS containers, offered in multiple sizes to fit every kind of move and serve as an additional way for storage space at a home or business.

In addition to helping businesses grow and assist with family moves, manager Hector Reyes is always inspired to help local charities around the community. PODS works diligently with local organizations by helping raise awareness and funds by saving thousands in moving and storage costs. Past charities include Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth and Adopt an Airman benefiting U.S. VETS. Upcoming charity events PODS will participate in include Country in the Park on Saturday, May 10, where PODS will be featured as a sponsor; and will be collecting books for Spread the Word Nevada, a children’s literacy nonprofit dedicated to advancing early childhood literacy by placing books into the hands and homes of children within low income communities.

As its 10th anniversary approaches, the leading moving and storage provider will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, May 15 at 11 a.m., with special guest speaker President of Ambassador and Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, Clay Overlien. Additionally, the books collected for Spread the Word Nevada will be presented, as well as a monetary donation from PODS.

“PODS has revolutionized a traditional industry by offering convenience and value through the use of its safe and secure storage containers,” Reyes explains. “It’s thrilling to be a household name in such a short time. We have a great brand and a great product, and our challenge is to ensure that people are aware of how we can improve their moving and storage experience. I’m proud to be part of a company that works efficiently and constantly sets the bar for supreme customer satisfaction.”
